The Winkomm 8 series Multi-Format HD Portable Video Streaming Switcher can switch up to 8 live 1080p,1080i or 720p HD video inputs while recording and streaming the program feed. It’s a true multi-format video switcher, meaning it doesn't require input sources to be matched to output resolutions. Effectively, this makes the Winkomm 8 series a portable TV studio that you can take anywhere and set up with minimal effort or extra equipment.

4 SDI and 2 HDMI inputs can be connected to cameras or other consumer or professional video sources. Audio can be brought in from a separately available mixing board via a pair of 6.35mm inputs or 3.5mm stereo audio input. Recording and streaming uses the ubiquitous H.264 format, at up to 40 Mb/s. You can even stream your live feeds to 4 different service platforms simultaneously.

The panel incorporates illuminated buttons that follow red/green PGM/PST color schemes, and a T-bar for manual control of transitions. Signal processing is 4:2:2 at 10-bits. Effects include mix, wipe, fade transitions, customized 4 video PinP, logo and subtitle overlay, and a chroma key with super clean edge. Suitable for a variety of live venues, including but not limited to corporate, education, house of worship, and theater.
